In my daily ramblings on this blog, I have yet to post a congratulations…for what you say? This blog post is dedicated to all those courageous women who have removed themselves from all types of scum walking around on two legs out there in the world. This is dedicated to all the women who don’t know, just yet, how brave they are. They will someday…. soon I hope. It’s time to re-build for some and find their bearings in the new, scary world. Revitalized at times to have the burden lifted but also wary of the world. For others, it’s a point in their life where they reflect on how very lucky they have been to escape from the high drama and/or danger. I congratulate each and everyone of you; for knowing that you have a right to something better in life and having to fortitude to go out and look for it. If you are trying to figure out how to pick up the pieces in the aftermath; here are a few things to keep in mind.
Keep your family and friends that care about you close. They will give you the respect, trust and love you need at this time and that encouragement will help you get past this. It will allow you to move forward with your life in a positive way.
Professional help for yourself is a good option too, being with a partner that screws with your head can erode your self-confidence. Clear your mind and feel good about yourself again.
Find your sense of humour again; a good laugh that brings tears to your eyes is more therapeutic than a day at the spa. Rent a stupid movie with a close buddy and laugh til your sides hurt. You’ll see what I mean in no time. Laughter and good times will help you deal with the low points that come along in life.
Should you decide that you’re ready to move into a new relationship; ponder this.
TRUST. LOVE. RESPECT.
Remember that these three elements are key ingredients for a healthy, happy relationship, they are equally important; if one is missing then the relationship is in trouble
