Exploring The Truth

If there is one thing that I know absolutely and completely is that knowing the truth affords you the ability to rationalize and deal with conflicting situations. If I didn’t believe it then; I most certainly believe it now.  In the years since, I have still been plagued by the thoughts knocking around in my head. When you hear day in and day out that you’re nuts; no matter how rational you are or how justified you feel, you begin to question and second-guess yourself and your decisions. It’s a form of crazy-making. Continue reading

For Laci

As I was out Christmas shopping this season, I dropped in to a local favourite video and book store that we enjoy going to as a family. My target was something special for my daughter to unwrap on Christmas morning. I had been in the store all of 30 seconds when I passed by a book shelf with some older books in it. One book in particular practically jumped off the shelf and into my hands. It was some other-worldly pull that made me unable to leave that particular book at the store. A Little Update

As much as it makes me worry about the outcome; it appears that the stork is set to arrive in June for my ex and his new bride. Worrisome in that history often has a way of repeating itself. Additionally, the knowledge that he is still out there in the unsuspecting world inflicting god only knows what kind of damage to other young women….actually anybody will do….anybody who he feels could benefit him in some way is in danger.
