The Exploits and Misadventures of Onion Boy – 7

The layers of deception run deep; outwardly you would be none the wiser

Random snippets of real life drama with an ex-husband who lived to lie and cheat and cover his tracks and situations where he financially, emotionally and physically abused. As in many things in life, the truth was buried…buried deep within the layers of the infamous cheater who we will call Onion Boy (O.B. for short). We will strip away the layers for all to see the loser is not the victim but the man who believes he can lie so well that he will never be caught…

Over the span of the following months, it was a constant roller coaster of emotion. Not only was I pregnant with my first (and only) child, I was dealing with a man for all intents and purposes appeared to be unable to make up his mind. Did he want to be married with me or did he want a life with his mistress? Continue reading

Fabrications; A Liar’s Stock In Trade

Bess Motta, 20 minute workout, '80's

There are very few humourous things about dealing with the lies and the damage that those lies do, but as the years have passed there have been some “whoppers”. These same whoppers in their fantasy and imaginative framework cannot help but make one think that the teller  of these tales must be losing their mental faculties.

The story starts out with mistress number 2 who has no idea or doesn’t care to know any particulars past her relationship with my ex, including run-ins with mistress number one on a couple of different occasions. Denial is certainly a very strong preservation tactic. I can certainly understand her desire to leave the past in the past. Whatever her reasons, we’ve talked some on the matter but altogether very little of consequence on the topic of my ex and events leading up to their ending up together. That’s okay; perhaps it’s for another day or maybe never. Continue reading

Brampton father and brother plead guilty.

Aqsa Parvez, in happier times

She had fought her parents for the right to wear Western clothing. She wished to put away the hijab they wanted her to wear. She was going to apply for a part-time job, something her father would not allow. One day she ran away from home for the second time in three months. After the first time, her father had sworn on the Koran that he would kill her if she ran away the second time.

On the morning of Dec. 10, 2007, Ms. Parvez returned to her home. Thirty-six minutes later, her father called 911 saying he had killed her. When police arrived, they found Ms. Parvez’s mother crying hysterically and her father with blood on his hands. Just two days prior to her death, 16 year old Aqsa went to the theatre and saw her first movie. Continue reading

Prisoner # 326390

Joran Van Der Sloot, now prisoner 326390

June 14, 2010 – Friends and others who have chronicled the life of murder suspect Joran van der Sloot say he’s led a life of deception, dissolution, and increasing desperation, ABC News reported.

Van der Sloot, just 22, has been the only suspect in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway May 30, 2005, and was recently arrested in Peru on charges of murder of 21-year-old Stephany Flores – five years to the day.

Van Der Sloot: I know where Holloway’s body is

Van der Sloot (shown centre) on either side of him are shown his alleged victims, Natalee Holloway and Stephany Flores Ramirez

By QMI Agency

Dutch murder suspect Joran van der Sloot says he knows where missing U.S. teen Natalee Holloway’s body is, Peruvian police told reporters Friday.

“He let slip that he knew the place where this person was buried,” Gen. Cesar Guardia told The Associated Press. But he told police “he would only testify (on the matter) before Aruba authorities.”

However, Guardia told the news organization he is not sure he believes the accused murderer, who has been evasive about the Alabama teen’s whereabouts in the past.

Van der Sloot, 22, has long been the only suspect in Halloway’s disappearance, though there has never been enough evidence against him to lay charges.

Halloway went missing five years ago in Aruba. Van der Sloot has been twice detained and questioned about her disappearance. Continue reading
